Following agreements between First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany Katherina Reiche, and with the coordination of GIZ, a delegation of Ukrainian energy companies visited the production facilities of a German company.
The delegation included representatives of Ukrnafta JSC, Ukrhydroenergo PJSC, Naftogaz Teplo LLC, and Yevro-Rekonstruktsiya LLC.
During the visit, Ukrainian specialists inspected equipment being considered for transfer to Ukraine as humanitarian assistance. The equipment includes generators, transformers, electrical cables, pumps, valves, switchgear, and other essential components required for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Upon completion of the necessary procedures, the equipment will be transferred to Ukrainian energy companies to support repair and recovery works, strengthen the resilience of the power system, and enhance preparations for the upcoming autumn-winter period.
