The European Union has provided an additional EUR 30 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, bringing its total contribution to the Fund to EUR 279 million. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.

“The funds provided through this financial mechanism help us restore energy infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks, procure critically needed equipment for our energy companies and ensure reliable energy supply, primarily for critical infrastructure,” Denys Shmyhal stressed.

The European Union remains one of Ukraine’s key partners, including in the energy sector. We express our gratitude to the European Commission and the European Union for their consistent and substantial support for Ukraine’s energy sector.
