First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal took part in commemorative events marking the fourth anniversary of the liberation of the city of Bucha, Kyiv region, from Russian occupation.
Together with the President and the First Lady of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Prime Minister, and international guests, participants honored the memory of those who lost their lives during the tragic events.
During the occupation, approximately 1,700 civilians—men, women, and children—were killed by the aggressor in the Bucha district alone.
“Eternal memory to all innocent victims. Eternal memory to the Ukrainian defenders who gave their lives for our freedom,” Denys Shmyhal stated.
