First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other senior officials, took part in the solemn reburial ceremony for Colonel Yevhen Konovalets at the National Military Memorial Cemetery.

During the ceremony, those present paid tribute to the memory of Yevhen Konovalets and all fallen defenders of Ukraine. The reburial of the Colonel at the National Military Memorial Cemetery marked an important event in preserving and restoring Ukraine’s historical memory.

“Yevhen Konovalets was a man who gave his life for a strong and free state, without whom modern Ukraine would not exist. We honour his heroism, resilience and self-sacrifice,” Denys Shmyhal said.
