First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, together with Siemens Energy CEO Christian Bruch, visited one of Kyiv’s energy facilities.
Denys Shmyhal showed the partners the destruction caused by Russian strikes and thanked the company for its substantial support during the winter period, which helped Ukraine’s power system withstand significant challenges.
The parties discussed preparations for the next winter season, the priority needs of Ukrainian energy companies, and opportunities for expanding cooperation.
As Denys Shmyhal noted, Siemens Energy is already a reliable partner of Ukraine in strengthening energy resilience.
“We count on the further development of joint projects in distributed and flexible generation, grid reinforcement, substation modernization, and the implementation of advanced technologies,” the Minister of Energy emphasized.
