The Government of Ukraine has extended the validity of the Regulation on the Imposition of Special Obligations (PSO) on entities operating in the natural gas market until 31 March 2026.
The decision also extends the fixed gas prices established to support households and electricity producers. This measure will ensure the reliable, uninterrupted, and safe supply of natural gas, as well as the security and stability of the natural gas market and Ukraine’s energy system.
Thus, the PSO will continue to operate as a key mechanism that enables the stable functioning of the natural gas market, the sustainable operation of heat-generating facilities, and the overall reliability of Ukraine’s energy system.
