- As a result of hostilities and shelling of the country’s energy infrastructure, electricity consumers in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions are partially without power. Emergency restoration works at energy facilities are ongoing.
- Efforts continue to eliminate the consequences of two massive enemy attacks on the country’s power system over the past week. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore equipment damaged by the enemy. Restoration work is underway both at power plants and at high-voltage substations that ensure the output of nuclear power plants. Nuclear generation currently remains partially unloaded.
- Hourly electricity outage schedules, as well as capacity restriction schedules for industry and businesses, are in effect across the country. Due to the challenging situation in the power system, emergency outages have been implemented in certain regions.
More details on the situation in the power system are available in the briefing by the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov.
