- Last night, the enemy carried out a massive missile and drone strike. Eight regions of Ukraine were targeted.
- The attacker used several types of ballistic and cruise missiles — over 70 missiles and 450 strike drones. The strikes were aimed, among others, at combined heat and power plants and thermal power plants in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, which were operating solely to supply heat to residential areas. The enemy is deliberately attempting to leave Ukrainians without heating during the harshest winter frosts.
- Restoration work continues at energy facilities damaged in previous enemy attacks. All possible measures are being taken to ensure stable operation of the power system.
- Hourly electricity outage schedules are in effect across the country, along with power limitations for industry and businesses. In certain regions, emergency outages are being applied due to the difficult situation in the energy system. After stabilization, consumers will return to the scheduled hourly outage plans. Consumers are urged to monitor updates on the official pages of their regional distribution system operators.
- Due to severe weather conditions, over 68 settlements in Kherson, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions remain without electricity. Repair crews of the regional electricity companies are working around the clock to restore damaged power lines.
More details on the situation in the power system are available in the briefing by First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov.
