- Overnight and in the morning, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on energy infrastructure. Power plants, electricity transmission facilities and distribution infrastructure in Kyiv, Kyiv Region and Kharkiv Region came under attack.
- As a result of the targeted attacks, some consumers in the city of Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi and Chernihiv regions remain temporarily without electricity.
- Repair crews have already begun restoring electricity supply wherever the security situation permits. The work is being hampered by continuous air raid alerts.
- Due to grid constraints caused by Russian attacks, hourly power outage schedules are being implemented in a number of regions today for all categories of consumers, along with capacity restriction schedules for industry and businesses. This is a necessary measure that helps prevent grid overloads and large-scale emergencies.
- Current outage schedules are published on the official websites of distribution system operators. We urge consumers to follow updates on the official channels of their regional electricity distribution companies.
