- As a result of further enemy shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, consumers remain without electricity in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Emergency repair and restoration works are ongoing wherever the security situation allows.
- A capacity deficit persists in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The distribution system operator in the capital is applying temporary schedules based on the available capacity. A return to stable, forecast hourly outage schedules will take place after the energy system stabilizes.
- Hourly power outage schedules are in effect across the country, along with capacity restrictions for industry and businesses. In several regions, emergency outages are additionally applied. These measures are forced and necessary to preserve the integrity of the energy system. The main reason for the current forced outages is the impact of overnight attacks on Ukrainian power plants and transmission and distribution substations.
- The most difficult situation remains in frontline and border regions, where the restoration of electricity supply is complicated by ongoing hostilities.
- Due to adverse weather conditions, more than 500 settlements remain without electricity in the Odesa, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions. Distribution system operator repair crews are working around the clock to restore damaged power lines.
- Due to ongoing attacks by the Russian Federation, Ukraine’s energy sector is operating under an emergency regime to ensure maximum coordination among all services.
- The First Deputy Minister thanked consumers for their resilience and urged them to use electricity as efficiently as possible, and also expressed gratitude to energy workers, heat supply workers, and rescuers for their round-the-clock work.
