- On the second day of the new year, the enemy continued attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. Overnight, strikes were recorded in Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. As of the morning, consumers in Zaporizhzhia oblast, including the city of Zaporizhzhia, as well as in other frontline regions, remain without power supply.
- Restoration of equipment previously damaged by the enemy is ongoing in Odesa and Kyiv oblasts. In particular, in Odesa oblast, more than 11,000 consumers remain without electricity following earlier attacks. Emergency repair and restoration works are underway.
- Due to adverse weather conditions, 27 settlements in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast and 17 settlements in Lviv oblast are without power supply. Repair crews are working to restore power lines.
- To balance the power system, electricity imports are being carried out and consumption restriction measures are being applied. In most regions, hourly outage schedules are in effect, as well as capacity limitation schedules for industry and businesses.
