- Overnight, the enemy launched another strike on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. As a result, consumers in Odesa, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Chernihiv regions experienced power outages. Energy crews began restoration work during the night.
- In Odesa and Zhytomyr regions, repair work continues to restore electricity to consumers.
- In Chernihiv region, an energy infrastructure facility was damaged by the enemy, leaving several settlements without power. Restoration will begin as soon as the security situation allows.
- In Kyiv and Kyiv region, restoration work is ongoing. Emergency outages remain in parts of the Right and Left Banks. Gradual transition from emergency restrictions to scheduled hourly outage plans is underway.
- Due to adverse weather conditions, 161 settlements in Kyiv region, 48 in Zakarpattia, 36 in Dnipropetrovsk, and 15 in Chernihiv region are without electricity. Utility repair crews are working to restore the damaged lines.
- Currently, hourly outage schedules are in effect in most regions. Emergency outage schedules apply in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Donetsk. Their duration may depend on significant drops in air temperature.
- The Deputy Minister of Energy urged Ukrainians to understand the temporary restrictions, support one another, and, where possible, use electricity sparingly during this challenging period.
