- In Dnipropetrovsk oblast, electricity supply has been restored since yesterday for over one million consumers who were de-energised by Russian shelling on 7–8 January. As of the morning, more than 34,000 consumers remain without power. Restoration works are ongoing. In Zaporizhzhia, all critical infrastructure facilities and households were re-energised since yesterday.

- Due to adverse weather conditions, more than 1,000 settlements across several regions remain fully or partially without electricity as of the morning, with the largest numbers in Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts. Repair crews are working to restore power supply.
