Briefing by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk on the State of the Power System as of December 10

10 December 2025, 10:44

The situation in Ukraine’s power system remains challenging due to ongoing Russian shelling. As a result of the attacks, as of the morning, consumers in the Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions remain without electricity. Emergency repair and restoration works are underway. At the same time, in a number of regions, compared to previous days, the situation is gradually improving.

Hourly outage schedules and power limitation schedules for industry and businesses are being applied in all regions of Ukraine. Up-to-date schedules are published on the official resources of regional distribution system operators. Please follow updates on electricity supply through the official pages of your regional electricity distribution company.

To support stable electricity supply to the population during the heating season, the Government has adopted a number of decisions, in particular regarding the review of lists of critical infrastructure facilities, the engagement of all available distributed generation capacities, and the expansion of electricity import opportunities for state-owned companies. These measures will enable a more even distribution of load among regions and reduce the number of outage schedule queues.

More details on the state of the power system are available in the briefing by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk.
