– During the night and morning, the enemy carried out another, already ninth large-scale attack on Ukraine’s energy system since the beginning of the year. As a result, by morning, consumers in Rivne, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi regions were almost completely without power. Outages due to attacks were also reported in Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions. Emergency restoration works will begin as soon as the security situation allows.
– In Odesa region, restoration continues after several consecutive large-scale attacks on the regional energy infrastructure. A significant number of consumers remain without power. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the damaged equipment as quickly as possible.
– Due to the massive missile and drone attacks on the energy system, emergency outage schedules are currently in effect across Ukraine. Previously published hourly outage schedules by regional electricity companies are temporarily not in effect. Emergency outages will be canceled immediately after the energy system stabilizes. You can check the timing of outages at your address on the official websites of your local distribution company.
As soon as the security situation permits, rescue teams and energy workers will begin eliminating the consequences of the attacks to restore power supply in the regions.
More information about the situation in the energy system can be found in the briefing of Acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov.
