Artem Nekrasov participated in a meeting of the Coordination Center for the implementation of comprehensive resilience plans for regions and individual cities in Odesa Region

First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov took part in an offsite Government meeting in Odesa, as well as in a session of the Coordination Center for the implementation of comprehensive resilience plans for regions and individual cities. He presented plans for the deployment of distributed gas-fired generation across various regions.

Over the past week, the Ministry of Energy has verified with regional military administrations the financing needs for completing construction and grid connection of existing installations. The prioritized requirement for 75 units with a total electric capacity of 96.4 MW amounts to UAH 946.4 million. This is a priority to be financed from the state budget reserve fund.

During the meeting, heads of regional military administrations of Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions presented updates on the implementation of their respective resilience plans. Priority tasks were approved. Initial funding allocations amount to UAH 582.3 million for Odesa region, UAH 280.7 million for Mykolaiv region, and UAH 97.5 million for Kherson region.

As part of the working visit to Odesa region, government officials also met with representatives of local businesses. Particular attention was given to ensuring stable electricity supply to enterprises, including through the restoration of energy infrastructure and networks damaged by Russian attacks. In addition, state-supported concessional lending programmes for energy needs and measures to strengthen energy independence were discussed.
