Acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov paid a working visit to the Donetsk region.
During the visit, Artem Nekrasov, together with representatives of the regional administration and energy companies, inspected a thermal power plant that had sustained significant damage as a result of targeted Russian attacks.
The Acting Minister held a meeting with the plant’s management, during which he reviewed the enterprise’s urgent needs for equipment and materials required to continue emergency repair works.
Artem Nekrasov also met with the plant’s employees, expressed his gratitude for their daily work under extremely dangerous conditions, and highlighted that their efforts represent an invaluable contribution to Ukraine’s “energy front.”
On the eve of Energy Day, the Acting Minister of Energy presented departmental awards to energy workers for outstanding professional achievements, their personal contribution to the development of Ukraine’s fuel and energy sector, and for ensuring the stable operation of the national energy system under martial law.
