On 6 March, applications will open for the payment of a UAH 20,000 allowance for February to critical infrastructure workers involved in addressing the consequences of Russian attacks. Applications will be accepted until 15 March inclusive.
The payments apply to employees of enterprises in the fuel and energy sector, housing and communal services, as well as Ukrainian Railways, who were directly involved in February 2026 in emergency restoration works at facilities of electricity, heat, gas and water supply, as well as wastewater systems; gas infrastructure facilities; and facilities for the storage and transportation of oil and petroleum products. The programme also covers workers involved in restoring public railway infrastructure — all those who work under extremely challenging conditions to restore electricity, heat and water to Ukrainian households as quickly as possible.
At the same time, the programme has already demonstrated tangible results: 12,300 members of repair crews received payments for January. To implement the initiative, the Government allocated UAH 246.4 million from the state budget reserve fund.
- The programme will run from January to March 2026.
- Employees do not need to submit applications individually. Employers compile the lists and submit them through the Diia portal from the 6th to the 15th day of the following month.
- Funds are transferred to current bank accounts without opening new accounts, no later than the end of the month following the month in which the work was performed.
We thank everyone who, in freezing temperatures, darkness, and under the sound of sirens, continues restoring life in Ukrainian cities and communities.
